We are effectively an SME-targeted management consultancy that focuses on software and internet solutions to deliver real and lasting improvement in the businesses we interact with. We are not (just) a software house! In terms of this other side to our business we additionally offer these business services:

  • Consultancy - an overused and frequently misunderstood word - when we say 'consultancy' we are using as per our definition i.e. 'the practice of helping companies to improve performance through analysis of existing business problems and development of new systems, procedures and processes'. Use Wondersoft as an external resource to help you identify problems and propose and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Process Re-engineering - something of an outdated buzz word now but the ideas behind BPR (business process re-engineering) are still as valid now as when the phrase was coined and have since been enhanced with the interest in the 'lean' organisation (i.e. VSM - value stream mapping). In a nutshell we can help you document and analyse your existing business processes and comparing these with what you are actually trying to achieve (i.e. how value is added to you product / service) we can help to specify new processes that will make you more efficient and more effective. Often profoundly so!
  • Performance Measurement and KPI's - it is common for businesses, particularly small ones, to use profit and turnover as pretty much the only performance measures. While these should be used they are backward looking and do not help you move your business forwards, they do not flag problems before they fully manifest themselves. Your business needs a suite of defined and quantifiable performance indicators so you have your finger on the pulse. Importantly these measures should not all be financial - financial measures reflect 'effects' not 'causes'! With appropriate and supportive measures in place (i.e. the balance scorecard approach) you will be able to directly assess the impact of improvement interventions you have undertaken. for instance, you will be able to tell us, specifically, how much we have helped you!

It is no coincidence that as a business Wondersoft are strong in both consultancy and software development... as one often leads to the other particularly in SMEs where technology may not be being exploited as beneficially as it might. That said though, we do not walk into a place presupposing a software solution - software is not always the answer and is sometimes an unnecessary complication.
